CKGR Public Campsites (Self-Drive)
Basic, unfenced public campsites (e.g., Deception Pan, Sunday Pan, Piper Pan, Passarge Valley) managed by DWNP or concession holders within the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. These offer a true wilderness experience for self-drive adventurers, requiring guests to be fully self-sufficient. Facilities are minimal, typically including a long-drop toilet and sometimes a bucket shower stand.
